Hello! My name is Ron Knerem, don't bother trying to pronounce my last name, but if you want to know how, it sounds like Ken-air-um. I am aware of the non silent K, haha. I am Professional Photographer for the past 16 years. I started as an amateur concert photographer in my time as a musician in my home town of Cleveland, Ohio. My journey as an artist started as a musician and now as a multi faceted photographer and model coach derived from my various artisitc endeavors throughout the past 20 plus years. I started in 2005 being hired as a portrait photographer and ended up growing into running the business for about 6 years. I worked to develop my skills in fashion and model photography while serving other studios in their need for a retoucher, designer, and print lab, and customer service associate. In 2014 I joined an eclectic group of artists to manage an art gallery called Elevate Gallery in Cleveland as a means to lift up emerging artists and reach out to a community in need of positive reinforcement to rebuild. I produced fashion shows, concerts, and helped to facilitate many uplifting community events out of the art gallery. In 2015 we were awarded the city of Cleveland "Best New Attraction"! Our collaborative efforts in the arts community and the impact in our city were noticed. My first fashion show was in New York in 2016, and completely ignited my journey to eventually visit and then move to Los Angeles to further pursue my photography career. That same year I was published for the first time in a regional fashion magazine called Haute Ohio, where I am a regular contributor for fashion shows I cover to this day. In 2018 I moved to Los Angeles in hopes to expand my vision into the arts, fashion, and communities. In 2019 I was awarded the position of lead photographer by Los Angeles Fashion Week (LAFW). I am currently a main contributing photographer in several high end shows such as Art Hearts Fashion, and LAFW. Since March of 2022 I have officially launched my Model Coaching Program where I get to help mold models to become well rounded, very skilled, and fruitful in there personal goals as models here in Los Angeles as well as internationally. My dream is to be an international fashion photographer and models coach. I love to help others along the way in my journey, and I hope to embrace every opportunity to do so. Since 2021 I have been rebuilding my road here in LA, the pandemic caused a restart of sorts, but I am excited about the fertile ground ahead of me as I press forward to connect and build new friendships, community, and positive, hopeful impact wherever I operate.
