Biography coming soon...I began loving art at the early age of five. I would watch my mother draw comic book characters from the Sunday morning paper. I was amazed how a simple a number two pencil could make such magical images. I copied my mother's every move. I wanted the power to make these same magical images. I would draw all the time. I started taking any class in school to increase my skills. As time passed, I started entering art contest to see where it would take me. In High School, I received first place in our area show. I then start getting first place in various other competitions. By then I was truly hooked. I went to Ferris State to become a Commercial Artist. I felt that would be a good niche for my work. It was not a good fit. I felt that everything I did was to tight with no feeling. I then went to Lake Michigan College where I met Ken Schaber. He made me fall in love with creating without restrictions. From there my work has been successful. I have won or placed well in several area, national, and international show since meeting Ken. He's given me back that love I had as a five year old that watched his mother's magic pencil.
