Your CRM doesn’t need longer notes. It needs the right fields in five minutes.
Here’s how I’d do it without burning trust:
• Pick one meeting type (Discovery, Demo, Standup) and the must-have fields.
• Hit record and state consent up front; log attendees.
• Get a clean transcript with speaker labels.
• Pull facts into cards: Problem, Value, Next Step, Owner, Date.
• Send a tight recap email right after the call.
• Map each field to CRM picklists; block saves if Owner/Date are missing.
• Keep a human check for low confidence, sensitive info, or missing “receipts” (timestamps/slide links).
• Track coverage % and minutes saved; fix what’s slow or noisy.
